I came to Bear Basics feeling exhausted, with Pearl's energy, impatience and inability to settle taking over my life. I'd already tried another online programme and still felt like I was missing the key to helping her switch off.​ The change in the first week was remarkable. I was sceptical about the settling period and the advice not to rely on big walks to tire her out, but it worked. Pearl started sleeping through the night and becoming calmer during the day. Over the following weeks, we worked on markers, recall and e-collar training, and we are now enjoying off-leash walks in parks, at the beach, in forests and across grasslands without the struggle we had before. People now comment on how well-behaved she is, and the path forward feels so much clearer. Our future with Pearl is going to be bright, fun and adventurous.
